Our fathers and mothers, our grandparents and godparents, our ancestors whether by spirit or blood, our people have kept this place alive through their prayer, work, and donations. We do the same today, and welcome you to join us in this, that God’s house and our home may be here to serve many, many more generations. Your generosity, like those before you is truly appreciated.
Beginning the process of journeying to bright and holy Pascha, we read the same lesson from Matthew 25. There, Christ reminds us that what we have given or done for those in need, we have done this same unto the Lord. Charity and generosity are a part of who should be, and a part of this charity and generosity is our commitment to the sustenance of this Church.
In 2021 St Nicholas will be launching a charitable fund to do this work as a church and provide support to those individuals and/or organizations in need that align with our values.
